We launched Intel's primary blog site in October '06. So far, The IT Blog has been a tremendous success. More to come in '07.

There are many projects and new opportinuites in Portland including the new wireless network we have: City of Portland & MetroFi Launch WiFi Service.

I also plan to regularly update my blog in '07 and beyond... tell me how I'm doing.

My day job involves Internet Strategy and Marketing for Intel Corporation. I have over 12 years experience in technology, research and new media.

From 2001 to 2004, I was the Intel research team lead and designer of the “WebTrust” research project with the Center for eBusiness at MIT Sloan. Our research and projects have been successful beyond our expectations and have garnered attention and featured in major industry press:CMO Magazine, Internetnews, CFO magazine, Optimize Magazine, 1 to 1 Magazine, Secure Computing, ( full press coverage).

My current focus at work includes new media strategy and implementation. Also dabbling in location-based services over WiFi/WiMAX.

~ Motherhood ~

Shannon is a natural mother. She has the perfect demeanor, style and patience for our wee one. Once we can catch our breath, I hope to create a space for Shannon and Holland to express themselves in a converging digital media.

Our Wedding and Marriage is still one of our favorite subjects and times in our lives.

As our family grows and experiences life in general, we will share those experiences here.
